A Beautiful Birthday

Cupcakes for 2007

Nothing big happenend this year. Nothing. But while I was aware that I had kept a lookout for that one wish (yes I still do, I should beat myself for being silly) that never came, I have to say that today has been a beautiful day. The weather was fine. The day was beautifully breezy.... and there were these:

1. First three SMS wishes came from HSBC, Standard Chartered and Cahya Spa. How sad some have said...No I am happy :)

2. First live wish was from my mom -- who sneaked in a Cari Cari la Awak Dah Tua... Tsk tsk tsk (Tq Mak!)

3. 3rd wish came from Puds who asked if my kitty kids bakin me a cake at home

4. 4th - 20th wishes came from the folks at the office (tq tq :)))

5. 21st and 22nd wishes came from Zsa Zsa and friend Dennis

6. Then I read an email from Val in Sydney and I got a text from unidentified phone number. I still responded with a thank you... without asking who are you? (out of the fear that the person may be slightened)... So 019, if you read this, please do drop me a line and tell me who you are :) Thank you for wishing me well and may Allah blesses me.

7. Then came a text from Elaine who was in Jakarta

8. Then it was my.... MOM again!!! who again managed to sneak in 'Cari Cari la Awak Dah Tua '

9. Dayang and Pip got Chillis to sing the theme for me :) Thanks girls :)))

10. My niece 'Nicole' texted wishing me well and hope Allah bless me and that my business will go well

11. My Abang Tar was next

12. Then came Stick, Sinbad and Mayei (who never forget!).

I went out for some 'fresh air' and saw Nick H and Robert K at the pavement escorted by the green oil drop peeps into a navy Bayerische Motorenwerke....

And then Chester was in da house.....

It could not have been more beautiful. :)
